Renewable energy is in, carbon-emitting energy is out. More households than ever are making the choice to install solar panels, and the revolution is no different in Liverpool. A solar PV system can dramatically reduce your energy bills each month, increase your reliance on green energy, and reduce your carbon footprint.
You can save money each month on your electricity bills by opting for a solar panel installation. Rather than relying on your energy supplier for the power in your home, your solar panels can take care of it for you. Renewable energy isn’t just good for the planet, it’s good for your bank balance too. Solar energy is free energy – you simply need to invest in the equipment necessary to capture it.
And that’s exactly how you should look at the costs involved in solar. It’s an investment, because you will eventually make the money back from the savings you’ll make each month and then some. Investing in solar energy for your home is the smart move for households looking to control costs and make savings.
Installing solar panels with battery storage ensures you make the most of your new system, putting you in control of exactly how you use your new solar energy. Solar PV systems aren’t complete without a solar battery storage solution in our opinion. It helps you save more money than solar panels alone, and it ensures you can rely on your solar energy day and night.

The solar power industry is inundated with solar panels – and not all of them are great. Thankfully, we only work with the best, and you can check out some of our solar packages below that feature them. But it’s also important that you know that our solar panels are even cheaper now thanks to the UK government’s 0% VAT break on all solar installations until March 2027. Yes, that’s right, the usual 20% VAT is wiped for all solar installations between now and the end of March 2027, so there’s never been a better time to go solar.

It’s a fair question, not everybody is familiar with the inner workings of solar panels, but they’re straightforward enough to understand, even if the exact way they work is likely to go over most of our heads.
Essentially, cells in the solar panels start to move in reaction to sunlight. This movement creates an electrical flow, which is then captured by the wiring in the solar panels. However this electrical flow, known as a direct current, isn’t compatible with the appliances in your home.
To get around this, the current your solar panels generate is sent to a solar inverter, which converts the direct current into an alternating current. AC electricity is perfect for your home, so this can then be used as normal – just as if you were receiving electricity from an energy supplier via the National Grid.
No, not at all – overcast, wintry, rainy, or otherwise – solar panels will find a way to power your home. They’re far more durable and efficient than they used to be nowadays, meaning they can still perform despite adverse weather conditions.
So long as there is daylight, your solar panels will be able to operate, just with varying degrees of efficiency.
If you’re concerned about going solar only because you think the kit will need your constant attention, then let us reassure you. Solar panels need very little maintenance. In fact, solar panels will really only need an annual service to ensure they’re still working as they should.
Besides that, solar panels are self-cleaning thanks to the angle they’re set at, so when it rains it cleans them naturally, and they’ll only really need your attention if you notice that their electricity generation capabilities start underperforming suddenly and dramatically (which would indicate a problem with the panels).
