      TrustMark

TrustMark is the Government Endorsed Quality Scheme that covers work a consumer chooses to have carried out in or around their home.

Effective Home is accredited by TrustMark, and can take part in the Green Homes Grant scheme which covers green home improvements ranging from insulation of walls, floors and roofs, to the installation of low-carbon heating, like heat pumps or solar thermal – measures that could help families save up to £600 a year on their energy bills.

When you choose a TrustMark Registered Business, you are dealing with an organisation that has been thoroughly vetted to meet required standards, and has made a commitment to good customer service.

      NICEIC

NICEIC provides assessment and certification services for contractors working across the building services sectors. They assess electricians, renewable energy installers, plumbers and gas and heating engineers.

As a contractor registered with NICEIC, Effective Home is regularly assessed to ensure the work that we do is safe and installed to the highest industry standards.

      Gas Safe

Gas Safe Register is the only official gas registration body of gas businesses and engineers in the United Kingdom, Isle of Man and Guernsey. By law, all gas businesses must be on the Gas Safe Register – Effective Home has been on it for 3 years.

A gas engineer can only be aligned to a registered business and be issued with a license to undertake gas work on behalf of a registered business if they hold a valid and current qualification, which ours do. This evidence of competence relates only to matters of gas safety and is obtained by every engineer through a recognised route of training and assessment.

To become a member, Effective Home endured a rigorous accreditation process to join their trusted network of installers. Having been approved, our business is subject to annual vetting to ensure we are adhering to the HIES scheme rules and code of practice.

They aim to protect consumers from receiving overinflated figures from installers when making a purchase by sampling the contractual paperwork to ensure it meets their certification standard.
